The Northeast will experience a brisk weekend, with high temperatures stuck in the 40s across cities like Boston, Albany, and Portland, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

A surface high-pressure system will dominate the region Saturday, bringing cooler-than-average conditions and the possibility of wintry weather in northern New England on Sunday.

While the Northeast cools down, cities across the Southeast—such as Atlanta, Charleston, and Raleigh—will continue to see unseasonable warmth with highs in the 80s and low 90s.
