Photos: Disturbed marks 25 years of ‘The Sickness’ with all the mayhem in Raleigh

Dark heavy metal band Disturbed opened their show at Raleigh’s Lenovo Center with lead singer David Draiman being wheeled on stage a la Hannibal Lecter.

Wearing a face mask and straightjacket over a prison jumpsuit, Draiman then plunged ahead full speed and full volume into the band’s specially curated brand of madness.

Disturbed brought their “The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour” to North Carolina with Daughtry and Nothing More as opening acts. “The Sickness” was the band’s debut album, which has since gone five times platinum since its 2000 release…
