Following an investigation by North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement, a Raleigh bar’s ABC permits have been summarily suspended after multiple acts of violence, most recently a shooting early on the morning of April 13.
The Raleigh Police Department responded April 13 to a reported shooting at Starbar, located at 1731 Trawick Road. While no one was injured, multiple vehicles were struck by gunfire.

We hope this suspension will help prevent future violence and have a positive impact on the surrounding community.”…
