North Carolina man charged with disemboweling relative’s dog, deputies say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A Raleigh man was arrested Friday after being accused of disemboweling a dog earlier this month, deputies said.

According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded on April 2 to a report of animal cruelty on Dusty Road. When they arrived, they found a dog dead under “concerning circumstances”.

Following an investigation with Wake County Animal Control, 59-year-old Joseph Andrew Clark, a relative of the dog’s owner, was taken into custody. He is charged with felony cruelty to animals, according to the sheriff’s office…
