A former public works administrator for the town of Wake Forest has recently published a book about the legendary Johnston County moonshiner Percy Flowers.
Oakley Dean Baldwin and his wife co-wrote “Percy Flowers The Master Distiller.” Since retiring from the Wake County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, Baldwin has teamed up with his wife to research and write 30 nonfiction books on topics related to North Carolina and the South.
