The City of Raleigh welcomes residents and visitors alike to the 2025 Summer Concert Series, an annual tradition featuring the vibrant sounds of local artists at Pullen Park and Fred Fletcher Park. Each Sunday, spanning from now until September 21, these parks will host free evening shows designed to entertain audience members of all ages.
The Raleigh Concert Band is set to inaugurate the series at Pullen Park on June 22, with a roster of performances following through the summer, including the likes of Eat a Peach and Thelonious, showcasing an eclectic mix of genres. Fred Fletcher Park boasts a schedule of its own, with the Triangle Sax Ensemble up next on June 29, and continuing with acts such as SWAG, Blue Notes, and the Tune Swingers, wrapping up the series. Concerts begin at 6 p.m. through August 10, after which they will commence at 5 p.m., as stated on the City of Raleigh’s official website.
For those planning to attend, it’s advised to bring a blanket or chair for seating comfort. While pullen Park offers food for purchase at the cafe, Fletcher Park attendees are welcome to bring their own refreshments. Performers for these events may be subject to change without notice, and tips for the artists are not mandatory but always appreciated…
