Child bitten in face by neighbor’s dog near Wake Forest; animal shot dead by owner

WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) — Two people were wounded and a dog was killed Thursday after what investigators are calling a dog bite incident near Wake Forest.

Responding units went to the 7000 block of Pulley Town Road just after 4:30 p.m., according to Wake County Animal Control, the lead agency investigating.
