You might have heard about the fire that broke out at the Pirate’s Cove townhome community in Cary on 20 June. At 1:15 p.m., emergency crews were called to the 200 block of Bay Drive, where a townhome was completely engulfed in smoke. Imagine the chaos — neighbors were likely in a panic, unsure if anyone was still inside. But here’s the good news: by the time fire crews arrived, all residents had already been safely evacuated.
The really impressive part? Despite the heat of the afternoon, fire crews arrived within minutes and managed to ensure that no one was hurt. Thanks to their quick response, everyone — both the residents and the fire crews — made it out safely. Even though the fire was intense, no injuries were reported, which is a huge relief.
