Happening Tonight (July 5): Fireworks, Funk & Family Fun at Holly Springs’ Independence Day Celebration

Holly Springs, NC, Jul. 5, 2025 — In a spirited post–Fourth of July gathering, Holly Springs Parks & Recreation invites residents to celebrate America at the July 5 Independence Day Celebration at Sugg Farm. The event is free and family-friendly, featuring live music, food trucks, lawn games, and a fireworks display (weather permitting).

  • 📅 Date & Time: Tonight, Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

  • 🎇 Fireworks Display: Scheduled to begin at approximately 9:15 p.m., but may be postponed in the event of inclement weather.

  • 🎶 Live Music: Livehouse takes the stage from 6:00–9:00 p.m., delivering a dance-friendly mix of Soul, Funk, House, Rock, Disco, and Country. Their energetic performance promises to get the crowd moving.

🎒 What to Bring—and What Not to Bring

Attendees are encouraged to pack smart and follow all guidelines to ensure the evening is enjoyable and safe for everyone.

Allowed & Encouraged:

  • Lawn chairs and blankets

  • Outdoor games

🚗 Parking, Access & Getting There

On-site parking is available at Sugg Farm (2401 Grigsby Ave.), with limited space for vehicles. In 2024, lots were full by early evening. This year’s crowd is expected to be even larger, so plan to arrive early…
