The heat is intense, y’all, which is why you may want to consider packing your bags in Raleigh and heading to higher elevation areas in North Carolina, which boast cooler temperatures and less humidity.

We love personally Raleigh’s summers, they are buzzing with activity and festivities, and we’re lucky to have some cool water spots nearby to respite to, but sometimes you just got to get out of the city and the humidity that comes with it for a few days on vacation.
