Hundreds of gallons of gas spill after car hits Exxon pump in North Carolina, officials say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Emergency crews are working to clear up a large fuel spill early Sunday morning after a car hit a gas pump at a Raleigh Exxon.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, first responders — including a hazardous team — were called around 5:30 a.m. to the 4400 block of Capital Boulevard at the Fiddle Stix Exxon gas station.

Officers said a car hit a gas pump late Saturday night and left the scene with gas spewing from the pump for hours…
