Driver in stolen Hyundai crashes after high-speed chase, North Carolina troopers say

ARCHER LODGE, N.C. (WNCN) — The driver of a stolen Hyundai crashed in Johnston County west of Archer Lodge after a high-speed chase from Wake County on Tuesday night, officials said.

The chase began when a trooper spotted the driver of a 2012 Hyundai Elantra passing traffic along Interstate 87 near Interstate 540 south of Knightdale, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
