1. Durham year-round students return to class with new fee, cellphone rules coming
Year-round Durham Public Schools students went back to classes this week. With the start of the new school year comes new school supplies, schedules and rules. Superintendent Anthony Lewis says the district is working a new cellphone policy after a statewide ban on cellphones in classrooms took effect.
