Raleigh Union Station’s new bus facility, known as RUS Bus, will open its doors for use on Sunday, Aug. 3, and that’s just the start of the transformative project coming to the Warehouse District. The new bus station will act as a hub for GoTriangle buses headed to Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex, and other Triangle cities, and the Moore Square station will remain a hub for GoRaleigh transit. The new facility is complete with six bays, including space for a future bus rapid transit stop. The station also includes public bathrooms, locker storage, and bike parking. RUS Bus is located right next to Raleigh Union Station, meaning quick connections to and from Amtrak and local public transit. Plus, the area will also include a new tower with over 300 apartments, retail, dining, and more. Attend the ribbon cutting this Friday, July 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a first look, giveaways, food trucks, and of course, plenty of cake. Plus, be one of the first to board on Sunday, Aug. 3…..
