The sophomore, who is studying theatre and psychology at the North Carolina college, says she faces a tuition shortfall despite working two jobs and applying for multiple scholarships. Determined to continue her education, Scott turned to crowdfunding as a final resort.
“This was a last option, but I wanted to put my pride to the side,” she told CBS 17.
