In preparation for the new school year, there are a few back-to-school events happening across the Triangle this weekend.
In Raleigh, Carolina Hurricanes player Jacob Slavin is joining the Back-to-School Bash with the Raleigh Dream Center. This is happening Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church on Louisburg Road.
