A Johnston County man has been charged with murder after his father was found shot to death in the hotel where he worked, officials said Wednesday.
An employee of the Sleep Inn at 105 Commerce Parkway in Garner called 911 about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday to report someone had been found dead in their room, according to a Johnston County Sheriff’s Office news release.
