North Carolina Alert Issued for Missing 19-Year-Old Woman with Cognitive Impairment

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Missing Endangered Alert has been issued for Zoe Nevah Jane Bowers, a 19-year-old woman from Burlington, North Carolina, who was last seen on the evening of August 14, 2025.

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons confirmed that Bowers is believed to be suffering from a cognitive impairment, heightening the urgency of the search.

Last Seen Leaving Maple Ridge Drive in Burlington

Bowers was last seen around 5:22 p.m. leaving 1250 Maple Ridge Drive in Burlington. At the time, she was wearing a black dress with white flowers.

A witness reported that Bowers got into a gray vehicle of unknown make and model. The car was being driven by an unidentified white male with long blonde hair, wearing gray pants and a white shirt. Authorities say the direction of travel remains unknown. (ABC 45)
