Durham Police said Monday evening that they were investigating the discovery of possible human remains.
Officers responded just 2 p.m. to the Ellerbee Creek Trail near Acadia Street and W. Club Boulevard for a report of suspicious activity.
A caller reported finding a bone that they thought could be human near a creek along the trail.
