Missing 77-year-old woman in Wake County found safe, sheriff’s office says

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The Wake County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in finding a 77-year-old woman who went missing Tuesday night.

According to the sheriff’s office, Donna Aardene Murphrey was last seen around 7 p.m. in the vicinity of Old Sturbridge Drive and Bells Lake Road in southern Wake County.

Murphrey is believed to have dementia or a cognitive impairment, the sheriff’s office said. She was last seen wearing a green shirt, beige pants and black shoes, according to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office…
