Wake County detention officer arrested, accused of supplying contraband to inmates

A Wake County detention officer was arrested Wednesday after deputies said she was supplying contraband to inmates in the detention center.

The sheriff’s office said investigators received information that a detention officer was allegedly supplying contraband to inmates inside the facility.
