New study highlights increased safety, mental health concerns among workers

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – American workers are experiencing fear on the job like never before, and this goes far beyond things like layoffs or pay cuts.

About 46% of American workers fear a coworker could turn violent, according to a workplace safety poll of 1,000 people conducted by EMCI Wireless.

Other findings include 43% of workers saying they have taken time off specifically for stress or burnout, while 25% say they have quit a job because of safety concerns…
