A 19-year-old died in a head-on collision in Knightdale just after midnight Friday night, the State Highway Patrol said.
Jaime Flores Valdez was driving a 2010 Honda Civic on Bethlehem Road when he collided with a 2013 Ford Econoline van driven by 73-year-old Richard Winn Varnum, the SHP said.
