Judge lowers bond for convicted felon in road rage gunfire, 100 mph chase and Wake County crash

CLAYTON, N.C. (WNCN) — A Johnston County judge on Monday afternoon reduced the bond for a road rage suspect from $1 million to $75,000 after deputies say Murad Taylor of Garner shot into a woman’s car and then led deputies on a high-speed chase that came to a crashing end in Wake County on Friday.

At the road rage suspect’s first court appearance, the prosecutor didn’t give a specific reason for asking Judge Craig James for the lower bail.
