I visited Raleigh’s new all-day restaurant & market in North Hills. Is it good?

The North Hills Innovation District officially opened its very first full-service restaurant — and it’s a good thing it’s an all-day spot, because you’re definitely not going to want to leave.

Designed to be a “destination for Triangle gourmands,” Good Graces is a market, bar and restaurant that opened its doors mid-August as a place to sit and relax for breakfast through dinner or to grab a quick bite to go.

Think lattes, savory sandwiches, charcuterie boards and specialty cocktails under glistening, gold chandeliers or at the full-service bar, along with the many locally-sourced snacks and wine.

“I envisioned a place where convenience meets quality, and community comes together,” owner Haley Borden previously said in a release sent to The News & Observer. “Good Graces is about celebrating the good things in life, and I’m thrilled to bring this concept to North Hills.”

No matter what you’re craving, there’s quite a bit to choose from. For this week’s On a Budget column — in which we check out local restaurants, but keep the visit under $25 — I was stoked to see that everything on the menu is under that amount.

From the price to the portion size to the polished, cozy atmosphere, I don’t think it’ll be long before this becomes a prominent stop for foodies in North Hills. At least for me, it will be…
