Suspects charged in Oasis break-in and cigarette theft

Two people have been charged with stealing cigarettes in a break-in at the Oasis convenience store on U.S. 301 in Lucama. A third is also charged in connection with the incident.

“Investigators learned that the suspects had been solicited to steal cigarettes in exchange for cash from a convenient store in Goldsboro,” said Wilson County Sheriff’s Office Chief of Staff Wanda Samuel. “Detectives obtained a search warrant for the store. With assistance from the Goldsboro Police Department, the warrant was executed at Kings Convenient Mart.”
