Just days after two brothers pleaded guilty to the murder of Wake County Sheriff Deputy Ned Byrd, the community gathered Saturday morning to honor his life, service and legacy.
The Wake County Honor Run, organized annually by Back the Blue NC, took place for the second time this year, bringing the community together to support the cause.
