Person hit by car, smashing windshield, near Peace Street in Raleigh, police say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — No charges were filed by police after a person was accidentally hit by a car early Sunday morning in Raleigh.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:15 a.m. on the corner of Governor Hill’s Lane and Peace Street near Glenwood Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers said emergency responders took the victim to a nearby hospital with minor injuries…
