Inflation and federal cuts make N.C. food pantries hungry for help

Food pantries are working with fewer resources to meet a higher demand. The Consumer Price Index shows the U.S. inflation rate rose to 2.9% in August compared to 2.7% in July.

It’s a team effort to tackle the rising costs while still trying to help those in need.
