RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Changes could be on the horizon for Raleigh’s noise ordinance, with preliminary discussions at this afternoon’s City Council meeting to return to enforcing violations based on decibel levels.
The potential changes come more than a year after the city opted to transition its noise ordinance to a “reasonable person” standard, a determination critics say is difficult to determine.
