The City of Raleigh Police Department and the Substance Use Advisory Commission will take part in National Prescription Take Back Day on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The event is organized by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency. It allows residents to safely dispose of unneeded or expired prescription and over-the-counter medications at no cost.
Residents can drop off medications at Falls River Pharmacy, 10930 Raven Ridge Rd, Suite 109, or Wegmans, 1200 Wake Towne Dr, in Raleigh.
