The Wake County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man following a short pursuit.
Around 3:20 p.m. Thursday, a deputy observed a vehicle traveling at high speed on I-40 East near Gorman Street. The deputy attempted to conduct a vehicle stop, but the driver did not stop, the sheriff’s office said in a press release.
Deputies pursued the vehicle a short distance when the driver exited onto Lake Wheeler Road and hit an uninvolved vehicle. The suspect, an adult male, was transported to the hospital for minor injuries, WCSO said. No other injuries have been reported…
