New Women’s Home in Durham to Provide Support for Residents Returning from Prison or Jail

Jubilee Home will open a new women’s home in Durham, North Carolina, with a ribbon cutting ceremony on October 30, 2025. The project is funded by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). It is intended to support women recently released from prison or jail by providing safe housing and support services.

The new facility is similar to the Jubilee men’s home, which has operated since 2020. It will offer mental health care, substance use treatment, employment resources, and wellness support. The program aims to reduce repeat involvement with the justice system and improve health outcomes.
