ZEBULON — Johnston County authorities said a man called 911 Monday night to report that he had killed his children.
At about 10:09 p.m., Wellington Delano Dickens III, 38, of 101 Springtooth Drive, called Johnston County 911, saying he had killed his children, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies responding to the home found Dickens at the residence. He told them his 3-year-old son was inside the house and alive, and that four other children were dead in the trunk of a vehicle in the garage…
