ZEBULON, N.C. (WNCN) — Neighbors were left speechless on Tuesday after learning deputies said their Johnston County neighbor had confessed to killing his four children and keeping their bodies in his car trunk for months.
Investigators say Wellington Dickens III killed his three biological children and his stepchild. The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office identified the victims as 6-year-old Leah Dickens, 9-year-old Zoe Dickens, 10-year-old Wellington Dickens, and 18-year-old Sean Brasfield, who was a stepchild.
Dickens’ next-door neighbor wanted to remain anonymous, but told CBS 17 she noticed that his garage door had been cracked open over the past few weeks…
