The Raleigh City Council has approved $2.2 million in Affordable Housing Bond funds to create Forward Together, a new housing community for individuals transitioning from recovery programs. The project is led by Healing Transitions, a local nonprofit focused on supporting people on their path to stability.
The development will include 17 affordable housing units within the Women’s Campus of Healing Transitions. Designed mainly for women and mothers leaving recovery programs, it is located near public transit and essential services such as grocery stores, pharmacies, and schools.
