Man charged with attempted murder from October shooting in Goldsboro after Raleigh assault arrest, police say

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) — A man is facing a slew of charges, including attempted murder, after getting arrested Tuesday evening in Raleigh.

According to court records, 20-year-old Shaad Harper was arrested by the Raleigh Police Department on Oberlin Road, after an arrest warrant said he held a man at gunpoint, pointing a firearm at the victim’s head Tuesday evening.

Harper is being charged by Raleigh police with assault with a deadly weapon, resisting a public officer, carrying a concealed gun, altering a gun’s serial number and possession of a firearm by a felon.

The Goldsboro Police Department told CBS 17 that Harper had outstanding warrants stemming from a shooting on October 11, where a man was left in critical condition. A spokesperson said investigators secured the warrant on October 14…
