Raleigh to Host Inaugural Mardi Gras Masquerade Prom for Adults Benefiting Local Parks Program

Raleigh will host its first Mardi Gras Masquerade Prom for Adults at The Chapel at Dix Park on Feb. 7. The 21-and-over event will feature music, masks, and charitable activities. DJ-spun music will play from 8 to 11 p.m. as attendees in masquerade attire take the dance floor. According to the city’s release, proceeds from the $40 tickets will support the Raleigh Parks Play It Forward Financial Assistance Program, which provides access to recreational programs for the community.

Attendees will have access to complimentary hors d’oeuvres and festive mocktails prepared on-site. A cash bar featuring local beverages will also be available for those who wish to purchase alcoholic drinks…
