Dutch Bros, a unique drive-thru coffee chain from Oregon, has finally made its way to North Carolina. The coffee chain is currently under construction in Morrisville’s shopping center, Park West, and an opening date is set to be released soon. The opening of this new Dutch Bros location is exciting for many all over the state, because it is the first location within a 300 mile range of central North Carolina.
Dutch Bros values its energetic, customer-focused culture, with one of its main goals being to give back to the community which it resides in. Dutch Bros is also environmentally conscious, hoping to reduce negative impacts on the environment through sustainable practices. Other than the impactful values held by the company, they also have a distinctly creative menu. The majority of the drinks on the menu stand out from ones otherwise seen at a classic coffee shop. One of Dutch Bros’ most unique drinks is the Rebel energy drink, which has customizable flavors and sugar content options. Just in time for the holiday season, Dutch Bros released a seasonal drink menu, with drinks such as a Jingle Nog Latte or the Candy Cane Mocha. The coffee chain not only has unique menu items, but also a unique experience, primarily being drive-thru or pickup orders.
The addition of a new restaurant within the plethora of other establishments located in Park West will add even more competition, especially to one of the only other drive-thru coffee providers, Starbucks. The addition of this Dutch Bros is a big deal for the Morrisville/Cary area, being another step in the direction of a large East Coast expansion. Since it’s the first of its kind in North Carolina it is a key opening in the state, and will open and expand many avenues for citizens of North Carolina…
