Wardell Void of Raleigh won $347,251 after buying a $1 Cash 5 ticket for Thursday’s drawing at Best Buy Grocery on Old Stage Road. He was one of three winners who matched all five numbers, splitting the $1,041,753 jackpot. After taxes, Void received $249,149. He claimed his prize at the lottery office in Raleigh on Friday.
The other two winning tickets were sold in Selma and Greenville. The winner from Selma, a woman from Smithfield, also claimed her prize on Friday. Winners have 180 days to claim their prizes.
