North Carolina man accused of stabbing 10-month-old dog

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — According to court documents, a man is facing a serious felony after injuring a young dog.

Records show that the Raleigh Police Department arrested 59-year-old Herbert Lee Kearney on Thanksgiving Day in Raleigh.

A warrant said police charged Kearney with felony cruelty to animals. It detailed that “on or about the date of offense shown and in the county named above the defendant unlawfully, willfully, and feloniously stabbed a 10-month-old German Shepherd dog.”…
