Fight at a NC apartment complex leads to 12-year-old found killed by gunfire, police searching for manslaughter suspect

CLAYTON, N.C. (WNCN) — A boy has died after a large fight on Friday night at an apartment complex in Clayton that led to apparent gunfire.

According to the Clayton Police Department, officers responded to a disturbance call involving a weapon around 5:30 p.m. on the 300 block of Commodore Street.

They arrived at the apartment complex named Cobbler’s Station, where officers said several subjects fled the scene…
