RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — More than 50 firefighters worked to extinguish a massive blaze Monday night at the Raleigh Convention Center in downtown Raleigh, according to fire officials.
No one was injured in the blaze that erupted just after 9:30 p.m. at the convention center at 500 S. Salisbury Street. The huge fire triggered a two-alarm response, and several streets around the center were closed, Raleigh Fire Division Chief Preston Gaster told CBS 17.
