A Johnston County woman is facing multiple charges after police say she fled the scene of a fatal crash last week.
Magda Stephanie Galicia, 33, of Clayton was arrested Saturday on a charge of felony hit-and-run involving a death. She was also cited for having no liability insurance and driving with a revoked license stemming from a DWI conviction, according to her arrest warrant.
Police were called to Sumner Boulevard near Melville Drive about 5:30 p.m. Friday after a Toyota Prius and Acura MDX were involved in a crash, Raleigh police told The News & Observer. The driver of the Prius, 74-year-old Sueann Foutch Pugh of Raleigh, had been trapped in her car and was helped by “good Samaritans,” according to a police spokesperson.
