Raleigh firefighter charged with stealing gun accessories from home, deputies say

WENDELL, N.C. (WNCN) — A Raleigh firefighter was arrested Thursday on multiple felony charges in a series of thefts from a Wake County home, deputies said.

According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were notified on Nov. 26 of a larceny from a home in the 5100 block of Old Milburnie Road near Wendell. The victim reported that firearm accessories were stolen from his home in October and November.

A week later, according to the sheriff’s office, deputies arrested 25-year-old Daniel Scott Coffey of Wendell in connection with the incident. He’s charged with felony larceny and three counts of obtaining property under false pretense…
