The Meredith International Association (MIA) held its annual United Nations Dinner in November at Belk Dining Hall. The theme was ‘Together in Migration: Stories from Around the World.’ The event focused on the effects of migration. Six speakers shared their personal stories and perspectives.
MIA President Mariana Ocampo Londono, class of 2026, said the theme was chosen to recognize the changes that come with migration. She explained that many international students at Meredith College have been affected by migration.
