RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The defense team of the teenager accused in Raleigh’s Hedingham mass shooting wants his own statements to police not allowed in court.
In a motion filed Wednesday, Thompson’s defense team said after the mass shooting that killed five and injured two others, Thompson was taken to a hospital. He had sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was under constant surveillance from police and doctors.
