35+ firefighters battle Raleigh house fire, rescue dog as flames seen in home, officials say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Crews responded to a house fire with flames visible in southeast Raleigh on Saturday night.

The fire was reported just after 9:35 p.m. at a home in the 3600 block of Cannold Court in the Battle Ridge neighborhood, north of the Rock Quarry Road and Mackinac Island Lane intersection, according to Raleigh fire officials.
