RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Raleigh residents will get to decide which local fire station decked their halls the best as Christmas approaches, thanks to a special social media post from the Raleigh Fire Department.
According to the Raleigh Professional Firefighters Association, stations around Raleigh have until midnight Sunday to decorate their firehouses in a holiday-themed competition decided amongst citizens who did it best.
The social media post, which shared a photo of Station 3 located downtown on East Street, said voting will take place Monday on Facebook. Station 3 is the oldest and busiest firehouse in the city.
With a wreath on each window, a lit one between the two garages, and seeing the red Christmas glow around the station’s sign, this could be a fiery competition amongst the Raleigh stations…
