SMITHFIELD — A 31-year-old man was arrested on multiple charges following a traffic stop conducted by the Smithfield Police Department Interdiction Team on Interstate 95.
The stop occurred around 6:10 p.m. Dec. 17, when officers pulled over a 2009 BMW driven by Shungi Ulrck Cowan of Wilson, police said.
During the stop, officers located and seized small quantities of suspected cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana, oxycodone and other suspected hallucinogens. Police also confiscated $3,517 in cash found inside the vehicle…
